Once Jack and Anna started to fall in love there was nothing that was going to stop them. The two of them met in college at Ohio University but not until the very end of their journeys on the bricks. Jack and Anna built a true friendship before they started dating, constantly talking to each other, confiding in each other and laughing with each. In December 2019, Jack moved to Denver, CO to start his career and Anna stayed in Athens, OH for her last semester of college. It was not long until Anna found out she would be moving to Panama City Beach, FL to start her first job in TV News. At first the distance seemed like a roadblock, but they persevered to keep this relationship going.

In March 2020, the world shut down due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Jack’s family was supposed to go on spring break to Seaside, FL that month but the state of the world forced them to reschedule the trip. The universe works in special ways, Jack’s family rebooked the trip for June the week after Anna moved to the panhandle. Since they were just minutes down the beach, Jack and Anna decided to get together. At the end of this week, Anna dropped off Jack at the airport and on the way home she had to pull over because she was crying so hard. Anna realized this was the beginning of something truly special.

It didn’t take long for Jack to fly back down from Colorado to Florida. This time the two went out on a date in the beautiful town of Rosemary Beach. They went to dinner and then watched the most amazing sunset both of them have ever seen. There in the golden hour and white sand they knew they were in love.

Jack and Anna had a long distance relationship for two years. From Colorado to Florida to New York City to Scottsdale, the two did everything in their power to see each other as much as they could and create adventures.

In 2022, Anna accepted a reporter position in Columbus, Ohio and there was no question Jack was going to move home to Ohio to be with her. Jack and Anna moved in together in May 2022. Since then they have been building a home and life together like they dreamed of for so long.

Two years later, in May 2024, Jack and Anna went on a vacation back to the Florida Panhandle. On the most perfect night, Jack got down on one knee and proposed to Anna on the same white sandy beach where they first fell in love. They celebrated their love with both of their families in one of their favorite places.

Now Jack and Anna can’t wait to say “I do!” in Columbus surrounded by ALL of their people.
